The Latest Slax

It seems like the older Slax 5.1.12 is more stable than the latest release Slax 6.0.9.

The latest Slax crashes whenever I try to shut down my box through KDE shut down dialog box. It umounts all my drives successfully but when it tries to "re-executing cleanup script", there's no any process takes place. My monitor continuously displays a blinking "_" symbol and never shut down.

But this is not an issue when I shut down the machine through bash and type "halt". My box successfully off after re-executing cleanup script.

My box also is a little bit sluggish when running Slax 6.0.9. I checked Top and surprisingly the operating system consumes most of my RAM even though I'm not running any application.

Since I don't know what causes the problems, I decided to stick to Slax 5.
